Thanks guys for the kind words. I've never done anything like this so I'm just glad I haven't broken anything yet lol. I'm going t wrap the headliner soon in red oce I figure out how to remoove it. Also that isn't marble, its hard to tell from the pictures but its actually red skulls that were airbrushed on. It looks pretty crazy in person.

I had thought that was going to be a issue, but it really isn't that noticable. I originally wanted a red dash with black accents but just a red book from class was driving me nuts on the dash one day. The red trim pieces glare on the dash sometimes, but they are not big enough to cause issues. I'm thinking of painting the rest of the silver pieces, but I kinda like the three color combo it has now. Aybody have input?

You could do a different silver. Like a gunmetal or even a higher metallic, brighter silver like House of Kolor's Orion Silver.
I've considered doing this because I think it would give those pieces more pop. You could also paint the inside of the grid on the shifter red or black.

To get your dash like this you have to totally pull it from the car then sand the heck out of it. Then primer, wet sand, paint, wet sand, buff it with a rubbing compound, clear coat, wet sand, then buff with a rubbing compound and finally polish it with a polishing compound. Its a long process, when I first started to sand it I didnt know how much a pain in the **** it was going to be, almost to the point I was bummed I started it at all. I think it was well worth the trouble, but just be ready to spend ALOT of time sanding.
The seats are just the stock seats redone in red leather, any upholstry shop can do this.
I had never considered a gun metal or a very vibrant silver.... hrmmm I think I'm liking this idea here. It would look awesome arund the curves on the trim pieces, add alot of depth. Thanks for the idea, now I just have to redo the darn headliner.

Do you get much reflection or glare off the dash when driving toward the sun when it is low in the sky? I thought that was why nobody does any form of smooth or glossy finish on the dash.
