i had that exact same problem. its nothing to worry about. when i took my car in to the dealer they said the cause of that was not tightening the gas cover good.

i have a CReader... it reads the computer and gives a code. Then u pull out this HUGE book and look up the code. I had the same thing and it flashed "evaporative... (somethin or other)" and i talked to a mechanic and he said it was because of not tightening the gas cap.

Oh, and the CReader also resets ur lights. il let ya use it free of charge

I've had the exact same problem for about 3 weeks now. I thought it was my oil so I changed it...no fix...then I redid my brake fluid...no go...resetted the ecu... uh uh...and I have changed my gas like 3 times already so how could it be that I haven't tightened the gas cap in 3 consecutive tries?

I guess it's to the dealer I must go now...*** I hate that

it wasnt the cap it was tight but it has yet to come back on so i'm gonna hope. at least yer cars all stocked up. i dont wanna come across some dick that wants to blow me cuz he doesnt like seein my header under there. i think i'm gonna fab a fake heat sheils to cover it up cuz then i'd pass visual smog too.

Had the exact same problem. Mine was caused by my intake. I think it was because I didn't clean out my intake pipe before install. This caused the the MAF to become dirty. Also, I need to tighten the MAF it had become loose. Unhook the battery for 3 minutes and the lights will turn off. If they come back on you have a problem, and really do need to take it in. Otherwise, you are probably good to go. They may come back on again later. If they do bring it in and get it checked.

well i had that happen so what i did was recalled that i had colored my leds to my speedometer and thought that maybe the plug that i took out was not plugged in all the way or came loose (same thing i know) so when i took it apart..tada..the plug was not in all the way. problem fixed, for me anyways..

I made sure my intake pipe was clean before installing the Injen intake. no problems with any warning lights yet. Tomorrow a nice shakedown ride to Tempe from Tucson.
