Default TEIN S.Techs

has anyone installed a set of these? not the basics, but the s.tech springs? getting kind of irritated with my nf210s and the uneven ride height. pictures would be nice, cant seem to find anything even with a search.

the front rides higher than the rear... its like a 1.4" drop in the front and 1.7" in the rear. the teins are 1.9" all around according to their site... the sprints are 1.5" all around. i had teins s.techs on another car a few years back, and they were great springs.

i had the same problem with the DF's, but if you look at the bottom of your car near the skirt area, you'll notice that your car is completely level, or should be. its just the design of the car..i asked a couple weeks back about it on here and everyone says its normal...i do know how you feel though, i was frustrated with it at first but..now its fine

yeah, i see what you mean... but to me, the wheel gap is more noticeable than the side skirt being level. plus, i want a stiffer ride. i wish i could find a picture of the drop from the teins somewhere.

yeah i know what you mean. it bothered the crap out of me at first, and since youre on NF's its probably more noticeable since its not as low a drop. so i guess s-techs would be good for you then. are you getting just the springs? or are you going to go a full coilover kit?

gonna just get the s.tech springs... dont have the money for full coilovers right now, its all going toward the dynatek manifold, lol. i had them on a lancer a long time ago, and they were awesome springs. should have gone with them before i even got the NFs, which will be up for sale locally after i get the teins.

most cars are designed with larger wheel arches in the front to allow for the wheel clearance while turning. You'll see a little of this no matter what springs you get if it's an even drop front and rear. the only way to get rid of this look would be to get coilovers, and adjust the rears a little higher than the front to even out the wheel gaps.

true, but the tanabes are 1.4 in the front and 1.7 in the rear, making the stock wheel gap difference even worse.

albinoalligator is right though, even if the drop is even (1.9 all around) youre going to notice gap..your best bet is to go coilovers or go the lowest you can go, which as of now, is the DF's. still not very low but more so than teins at least

wow, those teins look nice, even the DFs are listed at 1.9/2.2, so the uneven wheel gap will be just as bad as what i have now with the NFs. the teins would bring me down lower, and closer to even. those k-sports are nice too though, hmm...
