It's an '05 with about 120k on it and the 5 speed.

He currently has Amsoil synthetic in there right now so we're not "switching" to synthetic, really.

I'm thinking:

Oil/filter
plugs/wires
gear oil
fuel filter

For the oil and filter, I'm probably going with Amsoil, it's dealer cost to me and the extended use is perfect for a guy with his busy work schedule.

OEM for plugs/wires? What's the expected cost?

Gear oil, I'm thinking about Amsoil again. I use Amsoil in my car right now and it's been fine.

What about the fuel filter?

 

Plugs should cost ya abut $12 from the dealer for the set...coil on plug design so no wires. I have Royal Purple Synthetic in the gearbox, works great. I have no clue about the fuel filter. All I know is that its inside the gas tank.

Grab a set of Iridium plugs, toss a new PCV on there, squirt down the MAF sensor with the cleaner, fuel filter only if needed (if he has a fuel problem),Air filter, mount up a new set of wiper blades and fill the washer fluid, coolant flush and fill, you said oil/filter and tranny which are good but remember the extended Amsoil will still need a oil filter change and top off every 4-5000K as the filter won't go the distance. Take a look at the front sway bar bushings and brakes, check the power steering fluid for fun..
