Default boost gauge help

hey guys, my car is in the process of being turbocharged.
im going to be running it very conservatively at around 6 psi

a few people recomended running a boost gauge just is case there is a leak or if something goes wrong.

because im only running one gauge for now i was planing on mounting it in the cubby hole using doctor Iso's cubby pannel gauge holder because i think this is the cleanest look for a single gauge IMO

my question is how hard is it to tap the boost gauge and run the wires. i am already very fimiliar with the front dash and runing wires from the engine bay into the car.

is this something that most people could do or should i have a shop install it. im already short on money and would save a few bucks if i did it my self, and its always good to get to know you car better.

if this is something that is relitivly easy, could someone through togather a DIY if there isnt already one

thanks!

Matt

If you don't have a vacuum block, get one. It makes everything vacuum/hose related easy and it looks clean. If you do get the vacuum block, run a line off it to go to the MAP sensor that comes with the boost gauge. I ran the wiring thru a grommet in the firewall behind the glove box.

And you should be running Boost, AFR, and Oil pressure...at least.

You really wanna go there with this? You really want me to flame you so hard you wish you never hit the I agree button on the registration? This topic you started has been covered so many times before as has the fact that your half assing this and trying to do this with some sort of short money budget. Plain and simple wait until you can afford everything and then put it in. Dont be a dick, use the search button and less people will jump on you for it.
