My wife has a ford explorer and we both wish we didnt. Its alright but it has a crappy engine and crappy tranny. Seriously poor RS1!!

wtf happened!

 

I had a 94 explorer with the 4.0 V6 and it was a little beast, lol.

They are real tough, IMO it was more like an older ford truck before the plastic panels phase came into play. I ran into a no parking sign with it and toppled it right over and it only scratched the bumper. Would've peeled my whole front end off the tc.

Sucks for your buddy though.. it's time for a new bumper. Perhaps the M3 front? Never seen an RS1 with one before.

aite 1st of all sry for the late reply guys, it's just that i haven't been on SL alot after i lost the car..... what happened i was heading for work its a two lane opposite direction road, this 1 guy was trying to overtake somebody else & went into the opposite direction lane but the guy in my lane wouldn't let him pass & kept goin on until i caught upto them & on that road we came up on a curve which is like a blindspot so that you can't see the approaching traffic until too late & i guess the guy in the other lane saw somebody come up & just leaped back into the right lane & i had to swerve on the side of the road & it just made me loose control & i hit the fence of a graveyard
