Rear Speakers in Xb

Has anyone gotten 6.5" speakers to fit back there? Is there any cutting of the car or will adapter plates suffice to get them in? Thanks

why go bigger? just go what with what fits. I turned down the amp on the rears

you would need to have a one inch spacer...
and the basket of the speaker will need to be shallow with a small magnet...

the opening for the speaker is about 4 inches by 4.5 inches (yes it oval shapped)

I just cut the sheet metal. It fits perfectly. ;)
