Default Got a price quote now would like some feedback..Work Emotion

ok so I contacted wek sos and got a price quote on some Work Emotions CR Kai Bronze 17x8 and they quoted me $1608 OTD..

1) Is this a pretty fair price? This is including tax and shipping (i'm assuming since he told me OTD) but he also said this was a special order item because of the 5x100 bolt pattern.

2)Also what offset should I go with? I was thinking either 42 or 47.

3)Oh and I guess the most important question is fitment - will the 17x8 be to much of a stretch for my tires? I'm currently running toyo proxes 4's 215/45/17 (stock sizes). I think it will but I didn't see that specific configuration on the wheel fitment thread post by Neb and thought I'd ask.

I wouldn't be able to purchase these for awhile but paying this much for wheels is something I like to research quite a bit ahead of time lol

Any feedback is appreciated!

Thanks man! Well that covers the price portion of it lol guess i got more price shopping to do!

Anyway now for the other questions..

will is 215 big enough to fit a 17x8 without being crazy stretched? and would i be better with 42 or 47mm offset? I'm assuming they won't look much different but i'm noob to this stuff still..

I had 215s on my 8.5, so no, 215 isnt too crazy stretched. As far as offset, it depends if you want the rim more flush to the fender or not...everyone has their own tastes

our stock offset is 45...47 is a little more tucked while et42 will be pushed out 3mm towards the fender, yet it will still looked tucked.

Use 42 and go for a 235 tire. I have 42mm offset and use 245/40R18 tire but it rubs a bit in front.

I don't want to buy new tires since my toyos have less than 10k on them..i spent pretty decent money on my tires just to throw them away lol hence why i was asking if they would fit with 215.

Thanks for the advice though..i'll probably go with a 42mm offset as well..hopefully i can get these after x-mas

leave on there incase you need to ride on your stocks. I know allot of places where I live won't mount a used tire on a wheel.

You forgot to take into account the width of the wheel. It'll come out further than 3mm in an 8 inch wide wheel.
