I called Siruis, all was connected, however, the cable that connects the two units was loose and would not stay plugged in. I emailed TSS-Radio and told them about the problem, Sirius tech support told me the tuner can also be defective. Hopefully TSS-Radio will exchange both units for me. Thanks for the reply.

Those of you who have installed this Sirius set up, The TOY-SC1 comes with a wiring harness that has 3 connectors, 1 plugs into the TOY-SC1 unit and there are 2 more connectors, I have to Basic Pioneer head unit and on the back of the unit there is room for only 1 connector, is the third connector from the harness for someyhing else or am I missing something?

http://www.sirius.com/pdf/manuals/TOYSC1_userguide.pdf

there's your installation/user guide

it is a pigtail for factory harness that plugs into the same spot.. if you have a harness plugged into that spot then you remove it and plug it into the extra plug on your sc1

and btw in the troubleshooting part of the guide it lists these problems for "NO TUNER"

Check for loose connections.
Check that connector alignment/orientation is correct.
Check that cables are not pinched or damaged.
Check that fuse is not blown.
Check that the factory XM module has been disconnected.
Check for incorrect connections, some vehicles may have similar aftermarket modules
installed that utilize the same type of connector.

I appriciate all the replies and I did check all the above listed items, still no luck. I called TSS-Radio, they are sending me 2 new units to replace the ones I have. Talk about CUSTOMER SERVICE, wish there were more companies out there like this company. Once again, thanks to all, hope all works out when I receive and install the new units.

I received the new replacement units from TSS-Radio yesterday, installed the units and all is good now. It did turn out to be the interface cable and Tuner. TSS-Radio is great and has outstanding customer service.
