Default Security for tC

I just got a tC a couple days ago and am looking into beefing up the security and was wondering if anyone had any good advice on what to get? I havn't heard anything about how easy/hard these cars are to steal without any add-on anti theft equipment, but I live in a somewhat shady area and I know cars get broken into around here all the time. Was considering LoJack, but its very expensive, and doesn't do anything to deter a POS stereo thief. Alarms seem to be pretty worthless. Is the factory stereo something anyone would want to steal (will it fit in any other car)?

Default Compustar

I just got a compustar alarm w/ remote start. It's great.
If someone is breaking into your car it pages you AND the remote works from
1 1/4 mile away!!!! (New technology) I bought it off ebay for $230 +&25 for
the transponder free shipping and $150 to install. Great system!!

www.directed.com, i've heard clifford viper, and prestige are all good systems. once you figure out about what you want i asked the installers the questions i had about the different alarms. oh and i asked him how much it would be if i came with the alarm ready to install (off ebay) and he said it would be $150 plus he wouldn't honor the warranty. he could have been b.s.ing me but....
