I know we're all digging the Kenstyle Kit, but do any of you know of any new developments for our xAs? From what i understand all we have is Kenstyle, Ducks-Garden, and Fabulous?

I tried E-mailing Kaminari and Veilside.. but they didnt answer. :(

Just trying to see what else is out there...

there's the SPFR kit that's on Anthony's xA too - but it's not in full production yet, you'd have to send Jon an email for more info :)

yeah that kit looks pretty cool in person....very nice custom kit. Only thing that needs is some really low offset wheels to fill up the gap.

Still no word, i'm disappointed....

anyone hear bout plans from Bomex?

Just a sidenote to this discussion: If you're going to do a widebody then do it right. Don't take the time to get the body kit mounted and painted if you aren't willing to get the properly offset wheel.

IMO this is the best kit for the xA along with the kenstyle but i like this one a little more since it kind of looks like the CILO

how about a nice fabulous kit replica
original copies.

for xa it'll be list price at 1000 bucks
there are already a few people interested.
if u're tsw PM me. i will work out a "special"
price. and keep in mint the fab kit is a full bumper
replacement. so u can stock up ur car with ease.
u dont gotta shave anything, revit any lip on or whatever.
just swap bumpers.

anyways. the kit should be in my hands within a week.
the xb kit will be here to except the rear bumper has
the license plate hole(which a bodyshop can fill in for not much).

The Fabulous is Fiberglass right? How many pieces? does it include those cool eyelids?

hahajoey

no spoiler or eyelids at the moment.
and yes the kit is fiberglass. the kit im
selling will be about 1mm thicker or so than the original.
japanese kits are super thin! probably more thin than
we, the us public is used to.
they like kits super lightweight but it didn't look strong.
so my kits are a lil thicker than the japanese originals.
the kits are very clean, comes white in color.

This is not another kit offered but it does look nice nonetheless.......

Just got some snaps from my friend Paul's xA. It should be at the Chinatown Showoff for all to see along side the Longo Bus. Just got it back from the paintshop.

If you guys are interested in it let me know and I'll get pricing from Paul. Yes it looks exactly like what you all think it is......but it isn't and it's more affordable and pretty decent quality.

Soon after he's going to get the grill and a CF wing.

Ok, I take it back. After seeing Paul's XA in person, the Kenstyle kit really does look great. I love the front and sides. But the rear section... wish it was more like the Fabulous... with the bottom longer and more flared back, simulating the flare on the front. When you look at the Kenstyle from the rear, it looks like a regular car bumper.

Versus 1, the kits okay, but instead of enhancing the existing lines of the car and drawing attention to the car itself, that kit is like an entity unto itself that has latched onto the car. The Kenstyle and the Fabulous are beautiful because of their simplicity... they enhance the existing style instead of trying to make the car look futuristic. That's not to say a spacy rocketship-like style is bad, it's just not as appealing to me, personally.

I understand what you are saying completely I personally like simple styles myself. We try to make both styles whenever we can so we will make this kit then later on make a lip kit or something along the lines of that. We already have preorders on the super street kit that is why we must make that one first.

Versus: since you guys are in a position to "design" the kit from scratch, how about actually doing some design work, and instead of just putting a bumper from another car on to the xA, make one that has lines and vents that work with the xA specifically. Taking that extra step to achieve concinnity will result in a kit that actually works WITH the car, and will set you guys above others who just take the same front end and fiberglass the top and side areas to fit each and every car.

A Fab-type rear would look really good with Kenstyle front and sides. Erry modded his Fab front to fit his round fogs.
