Okay so I just put my new rims on like 2 days ago, they are 18's...an inch bigger than stock. I've have experienced rubbing going in and out of driveways too fast...okay I can fix that. But it's driving on the highway and stuff like when the height of the road changes I get a little rub. Nothing major. The thing is I want to drop my car to get rid of the gap. I wanna lower it with tein h techs but I thought that would be too low and I would run all the time, and the trd is a little less but I feel like i'd rub then too. Are those springs stiffer than stock springs? Would they help prevent it? Or is there a different type of spring I would need. Help por favor.

okay, so they're new, which means you can sell them for a decent price...

So let's clear something up...

You have new shoes and you're not lowered but you're still rubbing? Wow. What size tires did you get?
Ideal size for 18s is 225/40 IMHO. List up your shoes and tire size. We need more info than you're providing.

yeah im running 225/40 on 18's and im dropped on s-techs and i rarely get rubbing.

225/40 then it says R18 after the 225/40. I mean it's not severe, like I've rubbed like 3 or 4 times. Last night I had 4 people in the back seat...I mean it's obvious why I was rubbing then but it was a short distance, and I usually only have me in my car, my gf sometimes. But like going in and out of the driveway if I go to fast, but I mean that's not a big deal b/c I can go slow. And like a change in road high on the highway did it like once. I don't want to sell the tires or anything. But I mean are h techs or trd springs more stiff than the stock ones. Ugh, I know nothing about tires and all that.

what's the offset on your wheels?
