I just got back from the carwash, and while I was outside the guy waiting for the bay behind me asked my car was lowered. I was suprised, because I think my car is hovering above the ground on my stock springs.

No, not yet. It does almost look that way from the back at times but from the side you can easily tell.

Happened quite often before I put the Teins on my car. The stock ground effects make the car look much lower than it actually is.

 

Same thing happened to me at the car wash.. I went through one of those automatic brushless washes and it has a tire shine bar that you drive through and it got tire shine all over my side skirts :\
