Will i need new coils? Or good to go?!?!!! RUBB??!??!
Hey everyone, ok im planning on buying my wheels/tires pretty soon and was wondering if i should order new coils in advance, and what you think about the tire size and if they will rub. Ok:
Wheels: 19x8.5" wheels, 35mm offset.
Tires: 225/35ZR19 XL General Exclaim UHP
Drop: Tein s-tech
Will this rub? Im guessing yes, i will roll my fenders before i get the wheels but what do you think? Also what drop do you recommend for this setup, i was thinking the tein h-tech>>? Also what do you think about the tires and their size?
Thanks everyone, hope to hear from you soon

not going to work with S-techs. I had 18x7.5 with s-techs, no inner fenders and a roll and I would rub on bumps and such. its the width thats going to make it hard. you may need to have the fenders pulled a bit.
If i get 215/35-19 will i rub still then?? And if so then will it be severe>? Thanks.....btw im almost positive i have to get new springs, if i put these of stock suspension then will it still rub ? Thanks.
pulled is where they pull the fenders out to make room for the wheel. 215's might clear. My girl has 20's on here tC, but they're 20x7 and she's on Tanabe DF210's. You just kind of have to experiment. I'm pretty sure though even with 215's and rolled/pulled fenders, you may still need to run a few degrees neg camber for them to work
you can't put 215's on rims that are 8.5 wide, I think 225 is the smallest. I had 19X8.5 35mm offset with 225/35/19 on TRD springs (about 1 inch lower)and it would only rub in the front over deep dips going 40+ mph.
I now have 235/35/19 and the front rubs more often but the rear rubbed a lot until rolled/cut the rear fender lip.
