when i took of my door panel it looked like the speakers where mounted in an you had to do some cuttin to get them out is there a way just to pop them out so i can replace them??

 

I replaced my front door speakers w/ Ground Zero co-axials. All you have to do is drill out the rivets and the speakers come out. You will need an MDF ring to mount some new ones though.

 

what size are the door speakers 6'1?

 

fronts are 6.5s(actually 6.75'')
rear are 5.25"
Dash are 4"

For the front, you could also buy some scosche adapters or cut the factory speaker out of the basket and re-use the frame. It helps space the speaker away from the window when rolled down and you can re-use the same mounting holes.
