Default scion security system ..... a joke?

i bought my scion 08 tc . and get the factory improved security system. at first i thought i could feel safe when i leaft my car outside .after like 1 mouth my car window got broken and my GPS got stolen... and my alarm did not go off cause i was awake inside when it got broke...i check the user manual .according to the description it should work even someone use keychain to punch my window..so i decide to give it another try.. i fixed the window and leaft it outside. ...pump ...it breaks again.. this time is the drive side.. i got so ____ed and took it to the dealers . and they said it supposed to work.. i am not quite sure if it was the theif so strong or the scion security is a joke... anyone else have had this kind of problems? i am thinking getting a new viper system on it anyone got a good suggestion? thx

You should have done some research on it before buying it. You would have found out that it's a useless feature and a complete waste of money.

Dude, that sucks. You should take them to court. You paid the extra money for an alarm that would prevent / warn you of theft. They technically are liable for your loss and damages. I would go back to the dealer and at the very least ask for a refund, if not take em to court or go corporate.

are you serious???

an alarm is not a guarantee

the alarm is there so thiefs will avoid your car

if you could sue companies cuz there alarm didnt go off directed would be out of business.

come to think of it I got a ticket last month,im going to sue bel-trronics

If you pay for a product that is supposed to work and it doesnt than at the very least a refund should be given. Would you keep a radar detector that doesnt work? Your a Douche! But, I forgive you.
