Default Can i connect Factory Ipod cable for AFTER MARKET NAVIGATION

Hi guys,i just bought this navigation and installed everything

This unit had ipod connecter to but i love the way scion place the ipod cable infront of the gloves box thats y i wanna connect for this unit but i cant connect the ipod factory harness for this unit cause this unit use this interface for ipod (white cable in the ebay link ) pls help me thanks.

Nope, they have totally different connectors. You might try removing the stock ipod connector and just running the new nav system's ipod cable in the same place...

or even better, take advantage of the situation, run the new cable into the little cubby armrest thingy so the ipod is out of sight from everyone and protected.

^^^couldnt agree more!!! I remember hearing about somebody rewiring that factory ipod connection to their aftermarket in-dash dvd but cant remember where I read it... I will look to see if I can find it and post it
