I have a 2007 TC,,,, i'm driving around with two bent rims. Will i void my warranty if i buy 4 new after market rims. They will be the same specs as the original.

rims dont void warranty......... not any that i know of

 

it can never void your entire warranty or any specific part Unless they can prove that those wheel caused the part, you would be trying to claim, to fail

hey joe, how did you find out that they were bent?..visually, leaking air? vibration?...

i have a wheel vibration problem, and the tire store says that they are rebalanced (twice)..im starting to think its a bent wheel, or wheel baring..

I would just search around (google), and compare prices of different retailers. And good deals can always be found on eBay...

It really depends on how nice of a set of wheels you want. But I will recommend www.edgeracing.com, they are a vendor on here, and have helped me out a couple times with good prices on tires. And larger retailers like www.tirerack.com have a good selection, and helpful customer support.

i cant wait for the thread in a couple months sayin you bent your rims.

cheap rims < stock rims in sooo many ways. especially strength and durability.

your really better off buying another set of stock rims then cheap aftermarket ones.

 

Either get a new set if stockies which can be had for cheap or get those enkei's from edgeracing. Also dont buy tires from tirerack.com they have been known to sell bad tires. Just get tire prices off of there and then have discoutn tire match them. But try not to continue to drive on bent rims. Thats not good.

 

those enkies dont look too bad. they're quality and that's a pretty good deal.

 

Bent rims come easy living in NYC... CarboneXe, are you saying that there are no after market rims that are better than the stock rims? Also highvoltage where can i get a new set of stock rims cheap, the only ones i saw online were $220 each.

no, there are some aftermarket rims that are better than stock, but nothing you mentioned.
check the classifieds on here, craigslist, and ebay for stock rims.
