Was able to fill my xB for UNDER $20 :money:

6 months ago I would never have believed it.

yeah same here! THe station I normally go to is at $2.07 or $2.03 (i can't remember..its a 76 station) and an arco on the way home from work was $1.99 haha i never thought I would see gas less than $2 again!

btw I'm in OC, So Cal

I think it will last awhile..the oil companies finally were noticing that people just weren't buying gas anymore and they weren't making any money..least I think that has something to do with it

I'm sure it'll go back up but i don't think nearly as high as it was going

last time i filled up it was like 2.2x or something like that
the shell by my house is always out of regular on tuesdays for some reason

they only have reg and prem tho

No.. the demand for gas is about the same, its the fact that the stock market is taking a biiiig dump that the prices have gone down. Its on the speculative market so they always guessed on how much they thought oil would cost for the next day, hence why the prices really went up.


I filled up for $2.19 the other day, didn't even hit $25 for a full tank :)

A drop of $2 in the past 6-8 weeks.

At Knott's Scarry Farm they HUNG the OIL CEO.

The lowest I've seen here in the suburbs of Chicago is $1.96... :clap:

lol i take it that was your first time there? they have the hanging every year. They even beat the crap out of the presidents and other government figures all the time.

1.99 at the thifty gas station in MoVal. I've heard that the costco gas in Corona is 5 cents or more lower than 1.99.

cheapest i've seen so far was 1.84 in south bay L.A. area at costco

I've seen $1.86 today at a Thortons.

so last night I went an filled up the tC..put a little over 10 gallons in and it was just over $23 to fill =) $2.07 a gallon

You would think with all the oil refineries in the LA area
your gas would be as low as Texas. Must be all the taxes
they add on over there. :doh:

Gas prices: Corona has a few under 2$ but.. this just gives me a reason to spend 2:20 on prem.

My chick paid $1.87 last night in rowland hts off the 60 and fairway last night at the arco. I filled up last night for $26.00 at chevron last night, I think it was $1.99! This is coming at the perfect time!


But you know it will jump back up here real soon!

yup me $1.97 at el monte shell off of the 60 freeway. there is a shell and mobil right next to each other. It's near the Scion billboard. Full tank $18.04 with the light on!!!!

$2.59.9 for 87 in Honolulu! Lowest I've seen in years!!! Sure, at the Costco gas station, it's about $2.09/gallon if you have a membership.

Its around $1.9x around my area (OC). I got a full tank on my tC for $24.50 2 days ago...a few months ago i had to pay almost $60 for a full tank which would barely last me 2 weeks.

Holiday is over...prices back on the rise.
