tC turns to DC
The transformation from tC to DC goes like this....
Before-

After-

Now...

So long story short tC crashed into by drunk driver. Now totaled and got myself an '09 Dodge Challenger.

no hate...I love the new Challenger! Challengers are Great looking cars and the V6's have 90% of the style of the top end SRT8's, unlike the some of their other models, 300, Magnum and Charger come to mind.
One question, Stick or automatic?

Just hope dodge doesnt go out of business soon or parts will be a pain ^-^
Other than that..That car is SICK...there are a couple around here...don't know if they come with that awesome sound but all of them seem to sound amazing.

Well if your thinkin a challenger wait until the 2nd year of productino cuz the first ones are all automatic. thats what happens when dodge rushs production and just wants the car out, not appealin to the ppl. Oh and the black pictured in the forum earlier is NOT A V6 all first production challengers are V8. just fyi for everyone. love to have one but im content with my other car 1970 Mustang MACH1 and my 09 Black Scion TC. good stuff
Its an auto... LA traffic is a biscuit to be shifting in & your only as fast as the car in front of you
tC was paid off had $11K left on the loan & had enough for a down on the Challenger
As for buying an American instead of a Japanese... I think it's just in all the way you look at it Most foreign cars are built in the US if not Canada or Mexico After purchasing 3 Toyos (Corolla, Tacoma, & tC) I found them to be bland & underpowered. Also Toyota's quality seems to be falling off along with other Japanese makers Honda dropped from 5th to 9th for example. So I decided to take a plunge & buy a Dodge, which Consumer Reports had the 08 V6 Charger as one of the most reliable large cars. Plus the car has a lifetime warranty so that's piece of mind.
2009 models are the 2nd production models. First ones came out in limited production as 2008 SRTs
Only some stuff I was able to salvage... sound system, visor monitors, JVC head unit. Still trying to see if I can get the rims, Injen CAI & GReddy Exhaust
R/Ts are tempting but with a $10K add on & this being my everyday driver The 06 tC had 70K miles in 2 years So I rather just have the comfort of the ride quality & quite cabin than performance, which I can just add on later.
Well thx all for the compliment & if you are looking to replace your tC definitely atleast test drive the Challenger & you'll be surprised. I test drove Subaru's, Mazda's & Nissan's but was underwhelmed by the ride quality. Guess the borrowed from Benz E-Class platform didn't hurt in making my decision of getting the Challenger.
