I'm running a set of Goldlines (2" drop F & R) and have run my 17's w Goodyear F1s 215/40/17 for about 3000 miles with no camber kit. I have seen no abnormal tire wear. Just my 2 cents. 8)

on my ride...i am running Sprint springs 2' drop and running on 19's and no problems...very nice ride for me...i have had them on for around 1 year and 7 months...and they are still good.

I have the same size tire on 17x7.5 wheels w/ 42 offset on a 2.5 inch drop. You will not need a camber kit, but you will need 3 mm spacers in the rear. Depending on the offset, you will prolly need spacers in the rear.

Prior I had 205/40-17, on 7 inch wide wheels w/ 40 offset on 2 inch drop and no rubbing either.

That's true about the spacers- good point. I forgot to mention I'm running +42 offset on 7.5 width rims & I installed 10mm OneTonGarage HUB spacers in the rear. Install was super easy- took 20 minutes & cost $60- I highly recommend! 8)

2" goldlines, 18X7.5 wheels 215/35/18 and one ton garage rear spacers.. didnt rub with or without the spacers and I think immat 42 offset..

I'm running the GoldLines too with a 17x7 wheel +40 offset and 215/40s too. And have the OTG rear spacer shim. Didn't need them for rubbing issues, just for looks...

with 40mm offset, you wont need spacers. They do make it look better though. I recommend 215/40/17 tires and GoldLine 2" springs. I have lowered over 40 Scions and most of them are on GoldLines. I have also replaced a lot of other (Sprint, TRD, etc.) springs with GoldLines. They are high quality, and ride better than stock.

It depends on how wide your wheels are. On a 40 offset, if its a 7.5 inch wide, you may need a 3 mm spacer, but if its a 7 inch wide wheel, you may not.

I am RS*R springs and the ride is comfortable, the cornering is perfect and my wheels look great , being complimented by the drop.
