So some gauges showed up at the house the other day. I dont like them but was screwing around with the idea. Peice looks cool. But I do not think I am feeling it.

i think its a bit too far to be able to read it quickly.
i'll put it behind the steering wheel on the dash or on top of the dash. that way it'll be far more funcitional and effective

I have some above the wheel now. That is exaclty what I told someone else. They are to far to read. But I wanted to mess around and see what it looked like. Now I have a template for what ever I want to do down there. The guages where free and I just wanted to mess around and build something new. LOL..

The nice thing it is a nice tight pressure fit. So now just need to figure out what I really want down there.

It is a really good execution of customization. The function would still be there if the gauges were at an angle towards the driver. It would still be hard to precisely read the gauges but for shows who really cares it looks good.

now throw out 2 gauges, put my air gauges in, and throw in my switches, and send it my way.

That would be kinda cool. Since you dont need to see the gauges all the time. Just to set it and go.
