Saying goodbye to the Scion scene...
... Psych!!! Only for a while, not forever!!!
It's been fun guys, but what can I say. I'm going to drop out of the Scion scene only for a while. I'll still be on SL to terrorize people and harass the n00bs on how to search, so don't start to cry.
I've been searching and searching x3498 billion months for a specific car for the past couple of months. Friday night I was browsing some sites and stumbled upon CarMax, so I looked up the local CarMax's inventory and spotted the car. I then drove straight there because I had to see it in person. I test drove it and loved it, but unfortunately it was around their closing and I had no funds in order, so yesterday (Saturday) I went ahead and went to my Federal Credit Union to get a loan and visited my insurance agent and put the car on the policy. I drove it off the lot at 4:00 PM yesterday.
It's a 2005 Nissan 350z, Enthusiast package, 6 speed manual in Daytona Blue. Got it with 44991 miles on it. It is in great shape, I'm thankful the previous 2 owners took good care of it. My only gripe is the front bumper where it has the holes drilled into it.
Since I have a loan on it, I have to insure it with collision, which means my tC is out of the picture for a while. I can only afford collision on one car until I turn 25 and this total loss gets off my record (February 2010 for both factors), so for now the tC will be sitting in my garage collecting dust on fire/theft/vandalism.
It was a good decision. I love the tC, and driving it daily was starting to get impractical believe it or not. I rub constantly and have to baby it when I drive it because of this (I refuse to change the springs/roll the fenders), and the countless rock chips from interstate driving and cheap paint, etc was getting old. I've noticed on the Z there is hardly any road rash.
I washed/clayed/waxed it last night and was unable to grab some pictures, but when it turns light out here (it's only 6:20 AM), I will take some pictures of it and post them.
As for modding the Z, surprisingly it will stay stock for the most part. I just want to tint my tails and I already swapped its long, ridiculous antenna to the s2K from my tC lol.
Pics to come when the sun light reaches Arizona!!

so how does he feel knowing his girlfriend has a car that is a million times sicker than his?
lol. well all he really says to be honest is:
-your car is ___
-look at that pile
-what a piece of crap
-this interior is really crappy
-ew a tan headliner
-this shifts weird
-i don't like the clutch
-you have a ton of swirl marks
etc. then he says he's just aggravating me.
but you know, i don't care what anyone says. i got the car for myself. i love everything about it. i don't care what others say or think, i'm making the payments, not anyone else.

your not gonna be disappointed. My cousin got the same car and color from carfax in Ohio. Its just his track car, and soon to be twin turbo. Good luck and be careful with it!!
