I want to buy candy red lug nuts on SL...but the user didnt tell me where he got them from or what brand they are...seemed kinda sketchy to me, i dont want to get SHi*t quality lugs and have my wheels fall offf... if thats even possible? haha let me know whgat you guys think...

 

If you're running stock wheels you cannot run aftermarket lugs...so if he just painted the stock ones then your probably fne..unless you are running aftermarket wheels

 

he told me they fit with stock rims... i have my stocks painted black... he told me they would fit so im unsure... heres his thread so u can see them...its in the Ext. Stlying thread... thanks

He's wrong. The lugs that are meant to be used with stock wheels are Seated/Shank style. Aftermarket wheels use tuner/conical style lugs. Putting the wrong kind of lugs on your stock wheels are very dangerous. Just paint your lugs if you want colored lugs.

 

Damn really? Dumba**. IF i painted them wouldnt they just get all messed up when i put them back on? lol

 

if you impact them yes..if you just do it by hand then you shouldn't have much to worry about

 

put a zip lock over them when you use the torque wrench and you should be fine.
