Default changing the header

would changing just the header make my exhaust note any different? i was thinking that and an axle back for just a few more horses, anything would be nice. thanks

yes changing the header changes the exhaust tone a little. Not to much but it will a little.

if you do nothing else will it throw engine code? Smog?

You will need a CEL eliminator so you don't get a CEL. You will fail the visual in Cali.

I just changed mine and there is just alittle difference in sound as stated.

yea cali is so strict on smog but i have a place were visual is not a big deal just whats coming out of the tail pipe. what up with this cel eliminator? that disable trouble codes /

because our resonator is so restrictive its not going to make your exhaust much louder.

the CEL eliminator tricks the second O2 sensor in thinking that there is a change in O2 level and this makes the ECU think that the primary cat is still there.

and i think that with a new header you wont pass the emissions test too. i can smell the exhaust now so emissions will be a problem.

ya i heard these crackle, go on youtube and search for xb exhuast and youl hear the crackle in the exhaust note.

It would be the same as a full exhaust tC so either one you listen to will give you a good idea. And it definitely doesnt sound good. One of the worst sounding notes. Id say worse than Hondas cause at least Hondas have the high RPM scream to back it up.
