LOL What the hell is that.
That doesn't even LOOK real. They could of attempted to make it look nice instead of "Heres a hood... Now we add this fake plastic thing" look.
I hope they go out of business so they can stop trying to replace the Civic with the tC.
tcwannab 12-29-2004, 01:01 AM i really hope thats a joke
Gregh1 12-29-2004, 01:05 AM did they steal that from the bat-mobile?
eov32885 12-29-2004, 01:31 AM that is fugly, you should get a ticket for having something like that on your car.
cad455 12-29-2004, 03:07 AM did they steal that from the bat-mobile?
or from a totally slammin' sunfire!
tctunerz, ricing out tC's throughout the nation!
R3DLIN3_WHIT3 12-29-2004, 03:26 AM thats interesting and useless, performance wise
some creative guy will make it look good on his car soeday, i would think
it doesnt even look functional.

aarontrini85 12-29-2004, 03:47 AM ^ i see them more on cougers then sunfires but i guess thats just here in ill. but damn i hate knowing that this is going on a tc its going to ruin the car
TheScionicMan 12-29-2004, 04:01 AM It's a bolt-on - there's a thread about it here somewheres...
Are you sure it isn't a TAPE ON?

BigKid 12-29-2004, 04:31 AM It looks like its wedged between the windshield washers...guess they ran outta tape?
tc913 12-29-2004, 04:34 AM lol looks like something from the 99 cent store...
toby3002 12-29-2004, 04:45 AM that has gotta be the number 2 on my list of absolute crap car mods (number one being a cardboard body kit).
tCtunerZ 12-29-2004, 05:48 AM The scoop is not our company's product, sample image that was emailed in from Viniatit Customz. We have asked for pictures on a car painted however at current time one has not been submitted. We are showing what’s available through all manufactures for the Scion tC no matter what our personal tastes may be.
TeamMightyMiniz 12-29-2004, 06:30 PM Do not tell me that you are planning on carrying that item?
I'd rather glue a fireman's helmet on my hood than that thing!

That’s your opinion, others may find it appealing.
squirrel 12-29-2004, 06:37 PM  Man, I wouldn't get that.
And if I did, I would go C.O.D. after first inspecting it and looking it over. I wouldn't pay anything in advance to Duwayne/Quick. He still hasn't paid a friend of mine back.

They might find glueing a firemans helmet to their hood more appealing also
smash 01-03-2005, 08:37 AM hooptie!
its_ikon 01-05-2005, 03:33 AM i hope the final design is changed a little
smash 01-05-2005, 03:38 AM yes and by a little he means by removing the so-called hood scoop
aarontrini85 01-26-2005, 01:40 PM well it looks like they finely finished up this POS and it looks just as bad as it did in that pic

i liked there car thill this crap got put on it  it looks good in the last pic but thats becouse you can barely see it so i guess it doesnt count
Dwestxb 01-26-2005, 01:57 PM It wouldn't be bad, if it was at least functional.
aarontrini85 01-26-2005, 01:58 PM the only way that wouldnt be bad is if it was real like you said but they even left nasty gaps on it and in pic 3 it doesnt look centerd
Beantowntc 01-26-2005, 02:30 PM ewww
komik 01-26-2005, 03:01 PM How can that even be called a "scoop". Where would the air go if the air could go somewhere? It looks like the end of a wrench. :nope:
genuine58 01-26-2005, 03:46 PM The production piece will have an opening for air and will be flush mount. I'm guessing that is what is throwing most people off, but I might also alter the height.
genuine58 01-26-2005, 04:04 PM A lot of you guys posting are missing it...these scoops can be molded into the hood,... LOL, It would be cheaper than a hood and it would look great, you guys are bashing the hell out of products. Where are the 50 people that sent me e-mails on this piece, please post so we can bend a neg. post into a positive one. It is just too damn gloomy here! :)
genuine58 01-26-2005, 04:08 PM I apprecaite all opinions tho..thank you, please reply on any altercations that u see fit that would improve this scoop...Do you guys even like hood scoops? which ones
Archivez2005TC 01-26-2005, 04:21 PM not that it would make much difference but don't you think this would actually be counter productive to a very small extent with a bulky thing on your hood with a flat forward surface bringing up wind resistance and slowing it down. it might not be toooo horrible if it was an actuall hood that was functional and not a bolt on piece of ____.
