View Full Version : What springs? Exclusive 01-20-2004, 05:36 PM What springs does everyone have on there car, how is the ride and what size wheels are you riding. If possible post pics. scionaraxb 01-20-2004, 05:48 PM Most people seem to have 2" Spy or Goldline springs. I think it's split as to how many 18" and 17" wheel owners there are out there. Personally, I have 1.25" Spy springs, stock struts, 17x7.5 wheels with 40 series tires. Mine rides better than stock, it's not as bouncy as the stock springs.....they were too linear. to see my car..click_http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4288241531 BlackBox66 01-20-2004, 05:50 PM i have the Eibachs i think it is 1.8r and 1.5f and im running 215/35/18 Exclusive 01-20-2004, 05:54 PM i have the Eibachs i think it is 1.8r and 1.5f and im running 215/35/18 How's the ride? Do you have any rubbing on the tires? pmpnxb 01-20-2004, 07:13 PM no rubbing unless you hit a turn really hard or hard u-turns... but I love em!http://members.aol.com/nosympathy2k/private/rims.jpg http://members.aol.com/nosympathy2k/private/rims2.jpg http://members.aol.com/nosympathy2k/private/rims3.jpg BlueBox 01-20-2004, 07:53 PM Goldlines are awesome! can't beat it for the price... if u need them go to DB Motorsports in Chino Hills and ask for Jody..tell him that Alex sent ya from Scionlife. $200 installed. http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/10/web/406000-406999/406172_21_full.jpg http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/10/web/406000-406999/406172_35_full.jpg http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/10/web/406000-406999/406172_38_full.jpg http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/10/web/406000-406999/406172_43_full.jpg http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/10/web/406000-406999/406172_44_full.jpg http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/10/web/406000-406999/406172_45_full.jpg Scoobyslack 01-20-2004, 08:08 PM I'll be on the TRD struts/springs when I get mine (2 more weeks) I just wanted better handling and a small drop since the xB will be my daily driver BlueBox 01-20-2004, 09:00 PM I'll be on the TRD struts/springs when I get mine (2 more weeks) I just wanted better handling and a small drop since the xB will be my daily driver my xB is a daily driver... i have over 15k miles and drove over 9k with the springs...not a scratch yet. u'll be surprised how well it sits. i don't have to go over speed bumps or up drive ways at 45 degree angles. i doubt anyone has any clearance prob with 2" drop regardless of the springs manufacturer. TRD springs are over priced and rides stiff...not to mention doesn't look like much of a drop with its 1.25" scionaraxb 01-20-2004, 09:05 PM funny you say that bluebox!(wassup?) I have 1.25" drop and I scrap my lip backing down my driveway. I have to drive slow over speed bumps too, but not at a 45 either.
