Installed new headlights and accent lights (56k)
Wats up guys.. i just changed my low beams and accent lights.. tell me what you think!
stock headlights

off

accent

lowbeams on

the headlights were $25 Optix bulbs from aerocosmetix, and they give off a really white almost HID look. and the accent lights were 2 bucks at autozone. i'm going to change them again and get LED bulbs...

i don't know.. havent seen the silverstars before...these optics are kind of dim when you drive tho.. i was thinking of purchasing some silverstars, but they're too expensive....
i'll get real HID when i make bank.. but for now i wanted white headlight bulbs.. i liked the stock ones, but once i installed these.. i loved how they were whiter than normal

are the accent lights the same as the parking lights? yeah i need brieffing on the light structure so i can save up for mine. and what lights did different people use?
In Japan the "accent" lights are referred to as "city" lights. When you drive around in the city the street lighting is more than ample to drive by. So, with the city lights they just illuminate the headlight without broadcasting a beam. On our car they are built in when you turn on the parking lights. They are just 157 bulbs and are kinda hard to reach for people with large hands but well worth the change. 6.99 for a pair of blue. The chrome ones are too dim. I tried those too.
theyre not brighter than the silvania superstars are they?
Silverstars are actually a green/blue color. Not worth the money.
If your going to spend money on headlights bulbs go for some PIAA, NOKYA, MTEC.....
I put some MTEC Supewhite (4100K) bulbs in my tC and OMG the difference was amazing. The ones that I bought are 80w, so far no problems with the wireing and I do a lot of night driving.
