update....theres white smoke coming from my breather filter at idle...this indicates massive blow by...my boost gauge fluctuates, anyone selling pistons and rings???i cant afford new ones

What were your AFRs/Timing in boost?
EGT temps?

Just gives you a chance to do it bigger and better =)

If your gonna have the pistons and rings changed.
You might as well get upgraded aftermarket ones. At least I think so. Oh and some new race bearings, and a cometic head gasket.

 

i wish i had the money to do all that good stuff but most likely will get piston rings and a head gasket and retune it and call it a day...gonna make less power but w/e ijust need somethin to get me to skool and back right now

yeh...i have a zpi stage 1...(not the greatest) on 9 pounds...i just need a newer engine lol this engine is beat....i want this to last 100,000 im almost there

 

I wonder if the WOTbox sauce had anything to do with it........

It does put a strain on the tranny and engine.

no my boost gauge always fluctuated from 85,000 miles i never paid much attention to it but now i am lol the wot box was only put on a couple thousand miles ago...ive had bad rings forever
