I am feeling a bit ____ed........all the weather men said lots of snow and cold and I made a decision at 5 am not to go in to work early......then school called and school was going to be 2 hours late for Joe.......then they called 30 minutes later and said it was canceled.....so by then I decided to just stay home.......after all the experts should know what they are talking about........

Well I have exactly 0 snow.........the roads have 0 snow........and the temps are above freezing.......I burned a vacation day for nothing..........and tomorrow I have to goto Silverdale........and yet the weather man keeps saying snow.........do i go or not.......AhHHHHHHH

but on a side note I am thinking about going out and gettign some adhesive and starting the interior suede.

Absolutely! I am sooo excited for them to get installed. I went mild with the 6000K though...didn't want to go to 10K and be at more risk for a ticket....hopefully i will be safe with the 6K

I am totally excited about having the steering wheel controls back...never knew how much I LIKED them till I didn't have them.....

We have a good amount of snow here....the roads aren't too bad, but I did buy chains because I want to be able to get my order for Avon tonight and deliver....and certainly don't want to miss the white elephant party LOL

It looks like Sat might be ok.....but Sunday it is suppose to be bad again. OYI we haven't had this many snow days in forever!

Hey Brian, I can follow weather prett good, I predicted that it would snow on Sunday, in August. Snow here is your weather report for this week:

Warming temperatures later today into tonight.
Rain/snow mix the rest of the day

Tomorrow- Possible snow flurries in Tacoma (60% chance)
until late afternoon. 31-34 temp

Friday- clear but very cold high- 28 Low-21
Saturday- Clear turning cloudy late, still cold
Sunday- UGLY! Snow, freezing rain

hope that helps

Jenn you do not want any higher than 6000k as your ability to see at night will acually be worse any higher. And in the rain at night even the 6000s are at times a challenge to find the road.they are a great step up from stock but rain is the HIDs arch enemy.....the light reflects off the road and you cannot follow the lines.

With any luck the winning powerball numbers are on MY ticket!

With T not able to get to work this week we are taking quite a hit to our income....got "Christmas" money in the mail today from my dad....but if he can't get to work then that "Christmas" money becomes "bill" money and that isn't so fun for Christmas

Ummm as far as the battery....not so much....will wait till we can get help getting them installed. Perhaps if we all get stuck at Doug's house we can do a major install party with everyone who has stuff to do! I can't wait to see them either.

Anniversary gift? Hmmmm wonder if that would be up there with the electric can opener T gave me for our first anniversary because HE was tired of using a manual one

Of course he hasn't done any shopping either....8 days till Christmas....ya...

6000k is the color temp ie; From 3000K Golden Yellow, 4300K Crystal White, 6000K Aqua Blue, 8000K Deep Blue to 10000K Violet Purple. So really at night the 6000k will glare out the white line more than the 8000k but in the rain you will get some glare from any of them. I like the 6000k slight blueish tint is nice. I have 8000k bulbs and they are pretty blue..lol but they are great for Terry as she had trouble driving at night with the stock bulbs and now she don't mind driving at night.

That is what I wanted too...to be able to see at night I did hear that all temps were not legal.....but they thought i could get away with the 6000K....but then someone mentioned their HID's not working in this cold weather?

You will see so much better at night. One of the guys here had 10000k and they were purple and the police never bothered him. The fish eye low beams on our 2nd gens help they don't seem to glare as much like in the snow and rain and not as blinding to oncoming traffic. I think you'll be happy with the 6000k . I haven't heard of anybody having trouble with their HID's in cold weather, not sure what to tell you about that. Good luck with the install your box is comming right along.

Kewl I can't wait. It's funny...even when we met Yvette and Doug I was saying...oh we don't need mods to our box it's fine the way it is....LOL Dang if it wasn't so dang addicting. I don't have much more planned for it....but we see how that went.

I am sure we will be ok....although we do live where the police like to bug people.....but mostly under the "Ugly car ordinance" and since we don't have the ugly car anymore....things should be fine
