well the tc is on the market just bought a 05 gto. if it sells it sells if it dont then im trading her in for another faster car either a altima coupe or mazda speed3.

yea more power is always a plus man. It will be fun to drive around in. I'd love to have a true sports car here, but right about now with well over a foot of snow outside my door, its just not possible. haha. o well.

 

Used to see a turbo GTO almost daily when I lived in VA. That thing was sick son!

The GTO isn't really my cup of tea.

But all in all i'd say its pretty good.

Given, I love my tc to death.

But, I admire other cars, and the work that some people put into them (with the exception of rice lolololol).

Gotta give credit when its due, no matter what make/model it is.

 

The GTO is cool, but GM messed it up made it look like a bland Grand Prix and made the Grand Prix bigger and lame.

Go look at the Australian version of the car made by Holden, which is where this car came from

I know that the Australian Tuners were building Turbos and other performance parts to ship up to the States for this car but I don't know if they are still doing it.

But the GTO is cool. I wanted one of these cars and I wanted to convert it to the Holden version which looks real mean.

my friend has a mustang gt and decided to mess with a gto, it was funny because he called me like "wth! you have to check the spec's online! the car didnt even look fast"

then i did and told him it had 400hp and he goes "oooo that explains alot"

a girl at work has a GTO, a red one too. It is nice, just not my type. I'd put the stock rims back on.

 

Sick car. Definately an upgrade as far as performance but keep an eye on it, I worked at a GM dealer and we got alot in for a whole bunch of different problems. Trannys, rear ends, electrical, etc.

But i'll tell you what... when I worked there I drove a few to lunch and their heavenly. The 6.0's throw you back big time. Had one come in for service with some basic mods and it was scary fast.

Not even a boosted tc could catch a GTO with basic mods... and a boosted GTO is in a whole nother class.

that's kinda scary buyiing a used american car like a GTO. haha yeah it's fast and im sure the owner before that knew it too and drove it to the ground maybe....good luck man!

 

Exactly why I won't purchase a GM car and one of the reasons they needed a bailout. Either way, congrats
