Hey guys and gals I just picked up the DC Sports Strut Bar Kit its tight it was 90 even and free shipping. I bet this is a nice little dress up for my motor aside from the tC.

I am ordering mine on Monday :)

If you bought a strut bar for dress up purposes you could have saved yourself some cash and just bought a hose kit or something if you wanted to look pretty. :) Strut bars actually serve a purpose beyond looks. :)

I am getting mine for suspension purposes lol...could care less about looks, unless they serve a purpose.

I know what it's for and believe me it will be put to use. I am just saying that it looks nice. Its Gun Metal Gray and will compliment my Turbo set up. :twisted:

Something I really am curious about is the hotchkis strut kit under the car. Do you guys think it will make a difference I have noticed that the tC already has a strut set under the car I dont see how much of a difference the hotchkis brand will make. :?:

All a strut bar is good for in our car is looks :P..

It can't, there is nothing to tighten up, its all psychological in our car. Does have a nice look but doesn't do anything for us. A sway bar does, not a strut.

ZX2 was built different, in the tC our car is a strut bar...hehe....in the ZX2 it could actually use one.

hey i just ordered mine today... i got mine from ray at wholehyper.com. for the first 5 ppl he is gonna sell it for 85 then after that 100. well now 4 ppl bc of me haha. so mine shipped would have only been 100 but tax made it 107.

While it looks awesome, I got annoyed how the scion specific instructions, with their tc specific pictures was so wrong.

And you have to loosen all three nuts to get the studs to lower, not just two as the instructions indicate.

yea delayed turbo is right, the strut towers are real close to the firewall, it might help a bit but wouldnt really notice unless you track the car... then you might feel a LITTLE bit of a difference if you really know the car well. looks good though

To answer your question to the Hotchkis Sway Bars, they do make a big difference. I just installed them, and they feel great. They really help in cornering, and I've noticed a big difference.

You are correct for the most part... Tein S-Tech and DC Sports are on backorder till Mid to Late Feb and WR is on backorder on all the intakes till Feb 10th.... Everyone is hooking them up... But our exhaust kits are instock and we will have our short shifter instock soon too.
