NRG CarbonFiber shift **** (SK-300BC) anyone installed it??

i just got this shift ****.. looks awesome but i cant install it.. it looks retard. i have put that plastic insert in it.. started to screw it on the shifter and after half an inch it stops and i cant turn it more.. there is any way to screw it all the way down?

no i have stock shifter. and i cant screw the shift **** all the way down. its not a direct screw on and thats the problem.. i just want to know if anyone could install it without leaving any space below the shift ****.
