I like it. Better than some xBs on the street. Just remind me not to park in the same block as you. I'd like to have some peeps look at my xB instead of EVERYONE checking out yours! j/k

Anything new Mike? Keep up the good work.

hahaha no one looks at my car lol i have no idea what ur talkin bout...attention whore steve gets all the attention lol. everyone thinks my xB is stock lol. im serious sit w/ me at a show and youll know =P lol to me the 5axis is a original design n scheme...the tein one was a quick 5axis knock off only w/ a different kit by using the fab. I know the bodyshop that the car got done at...they did some ____ shod work imho..they also messed up my body kit too. as is why im not going back there. but yeah to me the tein xB is very unoriginal. i liek the 5axis one way better.. well who know's who else is going widebody? =P lol j/m naw nothing new w/ my ride, just keeping it the same fora while, gotta save up some cashflow..modding is adding up again lol. whats new w/ u man? enjoyin that sick harness bar? =)

actually no, the bodyshop half assed their way thru it lol...i saw the car in process..thankfully that car is never driven or the widebody would collapse...trust me its half assed...from the pictures u cant ttell but stick ur head up inside the fenders...i still think the quality of work and the outcome of the 5axis one is the best

and what do u have may i ask? matty ratty poo? and i never said mine was better than the tein one, im just stating the tein one is half assed. sorry im not corporate backed w/ an unlimited budget and half assed a car. other companies that did up scions that are corporate backed did a much better job

and that was such a mature response. its like me saying your xb isnt as good as the tein one.. come up w/ a decent response next time, and no i didnt get owned by anyone.

If half of the people here on Scion Life actually got to look over a SEMA car, AT SEMA, youwill know what Mike is talking about. Sure alot of the cars photograph well, but when you actually get up close and look at it, you'll be surprised.

But as Mike stated, most of these cars are rushed for the roll in, and are usually not completed until AFTER SEMA is over. I said most, not all.

I'm not taking any sides here, but unless YOUR car, that YOU, YOURSELF, bought and paid for everything that is in/on it, was at a booth in SEMA, then I don't think its fair to say anyone was "owned".

i can't believe how much ___ kissing goes on here.
hey, im not saying the sema cars are the best looking,
or best quality, but if u're gonna talk smack, be prepared
for people to judge your car, cuz its like
'who are you to say...'
right?

and yes i paid for the parts on my car.
i put everything on myself.
and yes i work on all the parts, i save up and buy them.
i dont have a list of WEBSITES that imply you have been
'hooked up' or 'sponsored' in my signature.

Excuse me "hahajoey", Mike and I are not bed buddies for what ever reason you would like us to be. I didn't say your xB wasn't any better than anyone elses, did I!?!

Did I say you didn't pay for anything on your xB!?! No, I did not!

And who I put in my sig block is up to me. They are MY friends and have helped me out w/ whatever in some form or another.

So if you want to start something, bring it on. Cuz it looks to me you want to keep talking "smack".

BTW, I'll give YOU $20 for your wheels.

5axis xB is too show for me--you'll never see it on a public road, so what's so great about it...if i had unlimited funds for a car that would sit inside buildings all day long for people to gawk it--easy task.

I like the Tein xB alot because it has nice work done to it, as well as all high quality japanese parts. Sure, it may be "half assed" to some, but it gets the job done and is much more akin to something I could eventually see on the street or driving on the freeway etc.

01-05-2005, 07:47 AM
The Tein car has a lot of work in it. The widebody is something only a few cars have and I really don't think it's fair to say that the original plan from Tein was to "knock off" the 5-Axis car.

I know Mike's just talking out of his ___ here, but the Tein xB deserves a little respect. You don't know the people at Tein and how many countless hours of work they dedicated to building that car.

Have a little respect for the hard work other's put into their vehicles! Other people here may attack you just like you are attacking Tein... (something to think about)

dude i know the body shop that did the widebody..the picture of the car they build the widebody off is the 5axis. other than the widebody i have no issues w/ the car. and no steve im not talking out of my ___..ive been there thru start to finish of hte bodyshops process of building the car. my car went to the same shop for getting my kit painted and some other work done.

oh yeah and i agree w/ you my car looks like total sh*t. yeah my STOCK car looks like total crap. it's not what i want out of it, but i dont have an unlimited budget to build a car. im a guy who works n earns a crap pay check to make my bills and pay my school loans..my mod money comes from sidejobs i do working on cars n other stuff...i do have respect for teins effort into building the car. i just honestly think it could have came out much better. a lot of people i know that build top show winners n magazine cars agree also...great idea, horrible execution. i contribute that partly to the bodyshop as well.

If you don't have anything to contribute besides your childish remarks, bring it somewhere else because the adults are talking here.

well he brings up good points about the crappy work thats on alot of sema cars but,,, all those cars should be completed by now in a non half assed way. those cars will be show cars for awhile , maybe not at sema every year but somewhere and anyone that can even produce a nice looking widebody surely has enough money to finish the job and make it nice.

whatever steve, im just stating my opinion and if u cant handle it thats ur problem. i really dont see the need to post up the 5axis xB, or some other flared xB's cause everyone's seen the flare work they do in japan n what not..i dont like going repetitive on what flares r nice n flows. but whatever. I did contribute to the conversation, u just seem to take it personal that i talked down on a car u sponsered. it's not ur car, so dont take it so personal.
