Default Pioneer F700BT with Stock Bazooka Sub

Hey everyone,

I'm in the market for an in-dash navigation. I put in my order through crutchfield and they called me and told me it wouldn't work with my stock bazooka sub.

Anyone know if the stock sub will work? It seems like it should juts be able to hook up to a preamp output. Instructions would be nice if anyone has dealt with this issue.

Thank you!

Damnit! I was hoping there was a work around . Yah the stock sub doesn't hit that great but I still have my trunk...guess I'll start looking into SQ10 with the custom enclosure.

you could still use it as long as you wire it up right.

however i dunno if its wired the same way as the stock sub in the new tc's. if it is then its hooked up threw the front to speakers and all you have to do is wire the remote start wire on the amp.

on mine it was the blue wire to blue and white.

good luck

also nice unit... i have the f90bt my self and love it

Thanks unexpected. I'll take a look at the wiring when I pull out my dash next week. I actually played around with the F700BT at best buy last night and I loved it! It was running the newer firmware so the lag issues were minimal.

I'm probably going to give up on my bazooka if the wiring doesn't work out, I ALMOST didn't upgrade my headunit because I didn't want to get rid of it.

If anyone is interested in buying a second hand stock bazooka sub PM me, I'll be taking it out next week. Nebster says it's crap but if you're just interested in more thump, a trunk, and not spending $2k on a sound system then this is for you.
