Erik: "Do you want me to wake you up at midnight?"
Me: "depends, do you want me to hit you?"

And earlier
Erik: "we have to kiss at midnight!"
Me: "why? So we know we'll spend the next year together, it's entirely too much paperwork to leave so I guess you're stuck I'm not waking up"

mmmmm teh mono, excuse to be sick and rude.

Spend day driving back from Oregon in rain, got home about 5:30PM, unloaded Vanilla, caught up on some of my e-mail and such, unpacked a little, watched the Seattle New Years fireworks on KING 5, went to bed. Welcome to 2009. :P

Hope everyone has a pleasant, productive, and safe new year. May it be your best year yet.

Yesterday was a long day of sitting at the cancer center talking to the doctor. They gave Shirley a prescription for phentinal(sp?) patches because she is allergic to every other pain med she has tried. So, she was in bed by 8pm and I sat up with the dogs and listened to the neighborhood fireworks until about 12:30am, Sharena called to wish us happy new year and I went off to bed.
Now, Shirley is on the couch sick from the patch, on anti-nausea meds now, doctor is mad at her for going to work after he told her not to. I'm getting ready to head off to work, yeah, happy new year, bah humbug, lol.

we had a party at my place and we didn't have a TV with cable because our tv broke so we did a countdown based off my iphone w/ tmobile, and it was 2 minutes earlier than AT&T's we didnt realize that until AFTER we all said happy new years and everyone kissing and stuff. So I did a recount again based off AT&T iPhone time and started at 30 seconds, then when we got down to the last 15 seconds, i went from 15, 14, 13, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 then my friend was like omg you're counting up LOL

great new years from what i remember!!!!!!

hope everyone has an awesome 2009!!!!!!!!

I was on fentanyl patch and it made me sick as well. Now there are some law suits so be very careful as the FDA issued a warning to the public and to health care providers emphasizing that the directions on the product label and on the patient package insert should be followed exactly in order to avoid overdose which can be Fatal. Some of the symptoms associated with a Fentanyl patch overdose are pinpoint pupils, slow or shallow breathing, extreme weakness or dizziness, cold clammy skin, fainting, inability to think talk or walk normally, and feeling confused. If these signs occur, the U.S. FDA urges patients or their caregivers to get medical attention right away.
Hope all goes well and keep an eye on her.

That's if you OD. The patch works for 3 days the first day not to bad second day I was sick to my stomach buy the third day I couldn't hold my food down. Never got use to it so I quit taking it. Some strong stuff.

Or Vodka. did that at the Lynnwood show.. I felt sick for a few hours after that.. I think NOS isn't a good thing for mixing drinks, I went back to RedBull or Tonic.
