I just put on a Blitz SUS short ram intake on my Release 4.0. I didn't know what to expect because there were some bad write ups about it. I went with the blits anyway because of the stainless mesh filter looks cool and is easy to clean (simple green and a hose, no oil). I also had one on my TT Supra.

It was very easy to put on. It took less than a half hour to put on. My first impressions of driving was exactly what I expected. A little more noise from up front and I couldn't feel a difference. But....

I have an app downloaded on my iPhone called Pocket Dyno+ by InMotion. It mesures :

60', 330', 1/8 mile, 1000', 1/4 mile, 0-10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80, max accel g's, 1/4 mile speed, and horsepower.

I do trust the results of this program and I recorded 11 runs BEFORE my intake and here are the results:

16.9@82, 17.0@83, 16.9@82, 16.7@84, 16.8@82, 17.4@80 17.1@81, 17.3@80, 17.4@79, 17.5@80, 17.4@80

Then I made 5 runs with the Blitz intake:

16.7@84, 16.6@84, 16.7@ 84, 16.9@83, 16.5@85

There was also an average of 3-4 increase in HP with a max wheel hp of 98.

Just to let you know, here the info about my car:
06 RS 4.0 5 speed with 25,XXX miles,TRD short shifter, TRD exhaust, TRD lowering springs, Hotchkis competition sway bars (front & rear), Energy Suspension poly end links, Hotchkis strut bar, GT-Spec front under brace, Sun inazma eco voltage regulator, and Bridgestone 195/60/15

cool that you have some numbers to put down with the write up. so it seems like the intake does have some kind of effect on the power ...

as a side, how are those poly bushings treating you? i'm thinking about getting those soon ...

I can't really tell you what the energy suspension endlinks would do for you. I installed them at the same time as the Hotchkis comp sway bars. So the difference was night and day but I am sure most came from the sway bars.

The Energy endlink set comes with sway bar bushing also. I wouldn't recomend changing those on the stock front sway bar. It is a lot of work and I am sure the difference isn't noticeable. Save it until you change out the sway bars.
