It seems to me like when I look at pictures of the xA on the internet, they make the car look A LOT bigger than it really is.
Anyone else notice this?

Anyone else notice this? fugeelama 12-31-2004, 03:58 PM Maybe not the whole car, but the wheel gap with stock rims always looks bigger to me online than in person :? Z34RedSox 01-01-2005, 02:12 AM I noticed that the cars look bigger too. They don't have many pics that have xa's next to other cars. its_ikon 01-03-2005, 09:04 PM that is all part of marketing. if you make the car look bigger and then more people may be tempted to look at it because of the price. matt_a 01-03-2005, 11:57 PM LOL...yeah, I noticed it too. Especially in this pic below. That lady must be like 4' 10" and 95 lbs. http://www.toyotacelicaonline.com/celica1/news/toyota-istrr.jpg TheScionicMan 01-04-2005, 12:27 AM Didya ever notice that the burgers on TV look more edible than the ones they slap, wrap and toss in the bag... It's called marketing, but damn, that does look like one monster xA... Must just be all that wheel gap... fugeelama 01-04-2005, 01:03 AM Didya ever notice that the burgers on TV look more edible than the ones they slap, wrap and toss in the bag... That lady is so small, she makes that xA look like a big SUV. That's quite a trick, because we are talking about a very small car. its_ikon 01-04-2005, 07:42 PM Didya ever notice that the burgers on TV look more edible than the ones they slap, wrap and toss in the bag... It's called marketing, but damn, that does look like one monster xA... Must just be all that wheel gap... the burgers in commercials are partially cooked and then airbrushed. most parts are fake. dante_b 01-04-2005, 07:46 PM what are you guys talking about? what xA? all i see is teh asian hawtness! George 01-04-2005, 08:19 PM LOL...yeah, I noticed it too. Especially in this pic below. That lady must be like 4' 10" and 95 lbs. http://www.toyotacelicaonline.com/celica1/news/toyota-istrr.jpg According to the specs, the xA is 60 inches tall. That's 5'. The model looks to be about 6-8 inches taller than the car, but she's wearing heels, so her actual height is probably between 5' 4" and 5' 6". That's right at the 50th percentile for women in general. A bit short for a model, though. XaRS0888 01-04-2005, 08:47 PM the xa in the pic looks lower than stock though....... |
