Oh Snap!
We should warn you of several phenomenon known to have occurred .....

1) Do not let spouse drive your toaster.... see my avitar for explanation
2) Toasters will congregate in groups @ Mall parking lots... it's a community thingy.
3)The urge to gather toy replica's of your box is normal, as well as cruising the toy car section of Wally-World and Toys-R-Us to see what is new.
4)The unfamiliar urge to "mod" your car is also normal... enjoy the experience ..
5 Friends and Family will often ask you "Just WTF is That?) indicating your box..
Your reply should be as varied and as eloquent as you can muster......
ie: ranging from it's a box to motorized dumpster, to toaster on wheels, to (for Hummer owners) "Didn't the Hummer Dealer throw one of these in with your Deal?... It's the Escape Pod"!
6) Having other drivers of these cars honkin horns, waving, & flashing their lights .. they are just saying"HI!" to your car,, return the favor.

Welcome man, and congrats to the box nation. First off it's "customize." Second keep that box safe, they seem to be dropping like flies as of late.

Mod the box like mad, almost everyone does. It's really hard to resist the urge. Mobil 1 synthetic is a a really good oil, so keep using it. Dont EVER switch back t conventional, you will mess up the motor. ngk irridium plugs are what you need to get.

This is a comfort mod I really like on Stubby, my '06 box. Remove the front bolts and loosen the back bolts that hold down the front seats. Then get 4 replacement bolts about 1/2" longer and enough washers that size that will make 4 sets of 1/2" spacers. Then put the washers under the fronts of the seats and put in the new bolts and tighten everything back down. That will make your seats slope back to a much more comfortable angle. You can try different lengths of bolts and numbers of washers, but that's about the thickness I used and I'm happy. And enjoy the heck out of your "new" car . . . .

Keep using mobile one synthetic. It costs a lot more then dino oil, but synthethc is much better for the engine in the long run.

50k seems like a good time to change the plugs, they're pretty cheap and easy to do. If you need a DIY I can find one for you.

Yes you can change your shift ****, but it's a bit of work because you have to completely remove your origonal one and add a new bar to the shifter and JB weld a piece of tread to the top to hold a shif ****. I can find a DIY if you're still interested.

You can change just about anything on the inside of the car, there are different door panels available. Ones with larger or added speakers made from Carbon fiber, fiberglass, or you could get bB door panels. Wrap panels in fabric or paint them. There are trim kits that look like wood, aluminum, chrome, or color coded to match your car. If you want it changed, you can change it. (with enough money of course)

also, sent you a private message.

Default ...Almost everything mentioned.....

Check to see if the previous owner knew that SCION does NOT provode a CABIN AIR FILTER for the CABIN AIR FILTER TRAY behind your glove box. Sometimes called a pollen filter, it will keep all that dust from piling up on your dash board.
See the TECH thread called 'Fabricate your own CABIN AIR FILTER', see instructions and photos of how to pop the glove box off to access tray.

After 15,000 this filter will be brown with pollen and pollution. Do not pay the dealer $23 for it, or $65 to get it installed. Go to any parts store and buy one for $12 or make one yourself and boast about your savings.

Post up photos and enjoy the ride.
