does anyone know what size the ball bearing is for the air conditioning knob of the scion xb? had to adjust something in the back of the radio and the ball bearing on the knob fell out.. called the dealership and they said they only sell the whole unit for 119 dollars..

I didn't know it had a ball bearing. Where was it located? I've taken may dash apart many times and have never noticed it.

when you take the middle knob (high medium low) fan speed controller assembly apart there is a little stainless steel ball that makes the knob click into each position.. i lost this tiny ball.. and it could be a 119 dollar mistake if i cant figure out what size the ball is..
also does anyone know where i can buy stainless steel balls in the las vegas area?

we have a couple dif sizes...... 1/2" 3/8" 5/16" ...that's all i know off the top of my head.....but let me know one way or another

Same here! My dash has been taken apart many times. I've seen no bearing. :roll:

the bearng goes somewhere in the knob...the middle one...with out the bearing it doesnt have that clicky turn feel..my knob just spins freely ...i kinda like it a bit so maybe ill leave it out....
