I have completely removed my original statement to replace it with this:


I have decided that, for the party or parties herein interested, that for a group day at the Auto Show (I say group day, becuase obviously there will be some type of lunch/dinner/food thing involved for interested parties) will be on December 12th, which is Saturday. Obviously, with it being on a Saturday, it doesn't have to be a night-only thing (We could meet up while the sun is still up), and then Light Rail or park Downtown (not too comfy with that idea, at all. I'd rather spend $4 and take the Light Rail)

If this is a bad idea to take the bull by the horns here, let me know, but obviously if we plan a lil in advance, people can take the necessary precautions with work to either leave early or take the day off.

Criticism is always welcome.

I think we should go... on a weekend tho if possible so I can maybe go.

That'd be cool. I just went to the Washington show yesterday. BTW: I don't know of a lightrail station near Arundel Mills. The furthest south I think it goes is to Cromwell Station in Glen Burnie. That is about 10 mins away from the mall.

Btw, Mercedes, BMWs, Jaguars, and Audis are overrated. You can get an Acura TL with more features and a lower asking price... and if you factor in the cost of mods that some people do, you're better off buying an Acura or Lexus anyways. Haha.

I found out tonight that the show runs from 10am to 10pm. I was thinking we meet around 3ish either downtown or at a light rail/subway stop. That way we have plenty of time at the show and to do other things downtown and/or otherwise.

the show is open until 11 pm on saturday and for those of you that like to get all the pamphlets. I figured out a great idea take a book bag with you cause the bags they give just break and hurt your hands.

Well, I figure after the show we'll stay downtown and grab some grub (the harbor is two blocks away). Plenty of places to eat, but if Will has any say, Hooters will be the fare of the evening. I'm sure we can do something after that as well.

Among consideration on everyone's account, this is the finalized concept for how things will go (for me at least).

While yes, it would be nice to go with everyone on Sunday, that would be, to me, a wasted afternoon, because after the show, most things are closed. Going on Saturday present the option of making a whole day out of this, not just a trip to the car show and dispersing on our seperate ways.


So, Saturday, Feb 12th, I will meet all interested parties _______ (where the blank is either downtown or at the lightrail station. See my finace's post < http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=42290 >) at 2:30pm. From there, we will travel to the show, attend the show, then go down to the harbor afterwards for food. Then, even after that, if people are up for it, we can even hit up Krispy Kreme in Columbia <weather permitting>. I say Columbia because it's a familiar location for mostly everyone.

I would go but saturdays are booked with lessons. A swim instructers job is never finished! Maybe another event. I would like to get out and actually attend an event where I can show off my own car! ;)

Stealing my line :P. Looks like Scion took Porche's spot. Best bet is prob the Hilton(?) Parking Garage or the parking garage next to the Hard Rock. I always go there when I go downtown and its secure and quiet usually.

Meg didn't take many pics (don't own a camera myslef, hate the damn things). Just a few pics of some concept cars, but nothing was really outstanding this year. I did score two black SCION HATS and two BLACK/GREY REVERSIBLE BEANIES, if peeps that didn't go wanted to know what the hand-outs for owners were.

My car was actually in the show and I have pics of a bunch of differnt cars so I will post up what I have as soon as I get them off of my camera.
