first off i want to thank Engifineer for the Leds and the support, i would definitely recommend him to anyone, he knows his stuff and is great to deal with!!

so here is the guages i just finished!

white Leds
red 2-tone effect
white needles

did these using a radioshack grounded 15watt soldering iron, worked perfectly
also used silver bearing rosin-core solder

i have a newfound respect for all of the LED swappers on here, its a tough and tedious job, and being the first time doing this, i see you need skills to do this sort of work.

for those wanting to DIY, if you dont have a steady hand, dont even think about doing this yourself, i thought i had a pretty damm steady hand, but found myself shaking too much to properly lay down the tiny led's at first, i had to breath and do my best, lol

and i have a question, did u just put in white leds and then to make it 2 tone u used some sort of red colored strip to make it red?...and where did u get it?

it's red transparent vinyl.

found at vinyl/sign supply shops

^ yep, i got a paper size sheet of the transparent film, i probably used 25% of it, lol

it was the longest/easiest part of the swap

Nice dude. I know how to solder but suck. I dont have steady hands at all. I am gonna do this soon i hope. Bu am gonna have a local shop do it most likely. did my buddies xb2 and its sweet. Gonna do blue and red though. Keep up the good work on the AP.
