Fujiz_xb 01-03-2005, 06:23 PM i ordered some from ptuning.com 147 shipped.. call up the number and tell them ur from scionlife.. they go for 260 last week they were on sale.. Dwestxb 01-03-2005, 06:52 PM I have Goldlines, and they are awesome! I would go with Goldlines. P.S. Did I mention Goldlines! Fujiz_xb 01-03-2005, 06:56 PM i was gonna do goldlines..but the lower the drop for me the better.. 01-03-2005, 10:47 PM The perfect springs would have to be the RS*Rs for the xB and xA!! Great ride and a perfect drop! You can't go wrong with the RS*Rs. :D squirrel 01-03-2005, 11:38 PM i was gonna do goldlines..but the lower the drop for me the better.. Tanabe DF210s then. Either choice will be a good one, Goldlines or Tanabe. trndmnky 01-04-2005, 12:16 AM I have the Goldlines. They look great, but they make too much noise. 01-04-2005, 12:52 AM remember that the drop on an xA is not the same on the xB. Unless specified by the manufactuer. Fujiz_xb 01-04-2005, 01:11 AM i was gonna do goldlines..but the lower the drop for me the better.. Tanabe DF210s then. Either choice will be a good one, Goldlines or Tanabe. they are in my room waiting to be installed in the spring. and since there seems to be no signs of snow they might go on sooner Yoshii 01-04-2005, 01:14 AM i have the Sprint Springs with the 2' drop and they are pretty good...not too bumpy...good springs... Oni-Haya 01-04-2005, 01:30 AM Dustin, you/ve seen my ride ... Gold-Lines are the way to go. I got mine from Stylis, but I am sure someone can hook you up with a GREAT ScionLife deal. (that's a hint for you Gabe ... LOL) Really, you will love the Gold-Lines. hotbox05 01-04-2005, 02:07 AM i'd say tanabe's but if u want a lil better ride get goldlines. either way great stuff. retail 01-07-2005, 03:13 AM The perfect springs would have to be the RS*Rs for the xB and xA!! ( www.stylis.net ) :D that's all i needed to hear :D The RS*Rs are a premium spring that handle great in the corners and have the most comfortable ride I have had. :) to the ppl with lowering springs.........how long did the stock shocks last with aftermarket springs? I thought I needed struts, but learned that it was my tires that were bad. So I am still on stock struts with the RS*Rs(2in drop) at 33,000 miles on the car. Hope this helps. :) chadfo 01-08-2005, 02:56 AM Springs are like opinions these days. Look at the pics, review the opinions, and pick what you think is best. Almost everyone's going to say what they have is best. hotbox05 01-08-2005, 08:24 AM ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ i'm recommending a setup i dont have. so my opinion isnt very biased at all. spcdental 01-09-2005, 03:55 PM red hot xa i could not remember what you were running on yours. thanks all for the advice on what to get. The price is great and I LOVE the orange... to match my RS1... but are they worth a damn. My bud swears by the TANABE's. He told me today how his friends went with the megans and had sever car sag in about a yr after install. I was gonna buy some this week and was curious. Thanks for any info. -will Wunder_Bread58 01-23-2005, 07:58 PM I'd be more inclined to go with the TRD setup. The struts and springs may not lower the car as much as the other kits, but these are made by Toyota - specifically designed and engineered for Scion. I'm coming from a strictly performance standpoint on this one. It may not look as pretty, but TRD suspensions have been proven to besome of the most effective out there... Ashe_WCM 01-23-2005, 09:28 PM If I'm gonna go for a full setup I'd go with the JIC FLTA2's bryan 01-27-2005, 08:14 PM I'd be more inclined to go with the TRD setup. The struts and springs may not lower the car as much as the other kits, but these are made by Toyota... Technically, TRD suspension parts are not "made by" Toyota. They are manufactured for Toyota/TRD by other companies such as Eibach, H&R, and Tokico. (I'm not sure exactly which companies manufacture the xA/xB parts, does anyone know?) Then again, not even your stock suspension pieces are manufactured by Toyota. For example, I believe that the stock shocks are made by KYB.
