Default thinking about powder coating my wheels, opinions?

I'm thinking about having the lip of my wheels powder coated red or white. Will powdercoating them still leave them with a shiny finish or will they be dull? main reason for doing this is that i have a nick in one of the lips and it would cost a decent amount of money to have it refinished the way it is, so i figured id have it fixed, then have them powder coated instead. i have heard it runs about $100 a wheel to have em coated. does that sound about right? so im at around 400 to have em coated, or around 400 for a new wheel. what does everyone think?

ps here is my car, the red stripe is gone now, and i have vrds and weathertechs on the way.

you can see the nick at the bottom of the wheel in this pic ^

I think white will look too dull....wouldnt have too much of a shiny effect. My rims are powercoated white and their a PITA to keep clean....but i mean yours is just the lip but its gonna look different though

its worse than it looks, it looks like someone took a chunk out of it with a flat head. its not really something that can just be smoothed out.
