Default Whats the best Axle Back Exhaust

I'm looking to buy a new exhaust system for my XB and i was hoping that someone could help me out with their experience on their exhausts!
I'm looking for something that looks good, fits the stock location, gives me a little more hp, and most of all does not make a lot of noise!! I can't stand that loud wasp sound that comes out of some of these cars that are running around..
Thanks for your help!!

I've got the www.Precisionmuffler.com axleback for the Auto xB. Looks good, sounds good, don't know about power gains but it was priced better than almost all the xB axlebacks I've seen. It's built with a Magnaflow so quality is there too...

I've heard several exhausts available, and IMO the Flowmaster is the best sounding axle-back exhaust.........even better than the Magnaflow cat-back. I know, it's surprising, but others I know agree.

You're not really going to notice a gain in hp from anything though.

no, CAT BACK means CAT BACK not MANIFOLD BACK. so you don't need a header for a CAT back

You're with Scinergy? I'd check out Sam's hot lava xB as he has the Magnaflow catback system.

Id go with a custm setup. it gives you a mass multitude of tip options and u can make it loud or quiet. custom is the cheapest / best way to go.

custom is not the best way to go unless you have a dyno set up to test all possible options. if you buy a manufactured exhaust then they have dyno tested it and you know what to expect. most of the time you lose horsepower with a custom setup.

i' will never believe that. only if u were to go too big. any system that still retain the stock resonator is dumb who cares if past the axle is 2.25 inch if the exhaust between the end of the resonator and the axle connection is 1.75 inch? i know alotta people run too big of piping and hurt perfomance. i ran 2 inch from cat back with a 2 inch glasspack as my resonator. and then 2.0 inch from there to my muffler. i guess i need to dyno now . too badi i'd have to take my header and intake off to do so lol. but i can guarantee you that my setup produces more hp than almost all axle backs.

well if i was marketing them then i would but i'm not all i know is what is your theory as to how it's worse? ever notice how race cars have custom exhausts? i dont wanna fight i just wanna get why u think this is all. if someone paid me to cover the dyno costs and like 10 or 20 bucks for my time i would do it and see.
