I can't wait for some liquidation sales. I have been wanting a BlueRay for some time now. Maybe I will have a chance at getting one for a decent price, maybe even a PS3?

Not too surprising - CC sucks. kozmo 01-17-2009, 12:46 AM this has bin going on for some time now.its mostley stores in canada..but one store by my house already had its liquidation sales and is closing..got a lot of blue rays at a great price..   kozmo 01-17-2009, 01:02 AM wow nevermind i guess there all closing  people will be getting some good deals starting saturday equinox2355 01-17-2009, 01:18 AM the ones near us have closed and there isnt many other places to buy electronics anymore (I work at Best Buy). There is Fry's but they are at least 20-30 min away! Funniest thing is people wanted us to price match the liquidation prices..... ya.... blacktrdtc 01-17-2009, 01:23 AM pretty much all of the CC here has closed down. there liquidation sales sucked i think. all they did was bump the price higher then it was and pretended to lower the price. there were few very good prices. jct 01-17-2009, 01:47 AM CC has closed its doors in indiana for about 6 years jsingh 01-17-2009, 02:08 AM i am thinking about getting Pioneer Navigation! ValenciaS 01-18-2009, 02:00 PM I heard the liquidation sales at cc are a joke (i have gone already) I have found the items 50 to 60 dollars cheaper for example a LCD monitor online at amazon priced at 230 and CC was at 295 24" tCs_are_life717 01-19-2009, 12:09 AM ^^ yeah people go "oh yay, 40% off." but what they dont know is that they mark up the prices and then sell them so maybe you save a few bucks depending on what you are buying, keep in mind it probly only has a maunfacturer warranty of a year or less and then if it craps out after that there is no store warranty...keep that in mind if you are buying high quality items TheJonas53 01-19-2009, 12:10 AM I just picked up my DSLR camera today at CC it came out to be $60 cheaper than Best Buy. TheJonas53 01-19-2009, 01:03 AM I just picked up my DSLR camera today at CC it came out to be $60 cheaper than Best Buy. how much cheaper? and does it have a warranty? about $60 cheaper. It has manufacture warranty. tCs_are_life717 01-19-2009, 01:11 AM I just picked up my DSLR camera today at CC it came out to be $60 cheaper than Best Buy. how much cheaper? and does it have a warranty? about $60 cheaper. It has manufacture warranty. of a year i assume? anyways smaller things are usually the way to go i would not advise a big 60'' tv w/o a back up warranty though but now you can take some pics of your ride for us to enjoy! :) TheJonas53 01-19-2009, 01:34 AM I just picked up my DSLR camera today at CC it came out to be $60 cheaper than Best Buy. how much cheaper? and does it have a warranty? about $60 cheaper. I cant wait to play around with it. Metro273 01-19-2009, 01:36 AM CC does suck! Best Buy FTW!... Theoneandonlydrone 01-19-2009, 03:48 AM went there today in OC and only saw a 10% discount on most things. Maybe better sales later on down the road. xravexboix 01-20-2009, 06:52 PM The liquidation is run by an outside company. It's basically just cashiers and very few reps in the stores. I went to the CC in the Eastland Center and this was the 'clearance' 30% off MSRP for Car Audio/AV Cables 20% off MSRP for CD/DVD/BD 10% off MSRP for just about everything else (including games) 30% off MSRP of car electronics is, usually, more expensive than other online retailers. 20% off MSRP of a DVD is still more expensive than Amazon and CC's normal 'everyday low prices'. It was a bit sad seeing so many people leaving with products that they overpaid for  Some people have been more fortunate (East Coast) where DSLR Lenses have been seen for 30-70% off... ejrivera88 01-20-2009, 06:54 PM Best Buy Ftw ;) Murbyrne 01-20-2009, 09:14 PM i went a couple of days ago. A million people, and the deals weren't even that good datdude1119 01-20-2009, 09:25 PM cc sucks, i went there thinking they would have good deals on everything. and everything was still over priced lol..its funny because the one i went to, there is a best buy across the street, and BB parking lot is FULL and CC parking lot was empty Eltaco 01-20-2009, 10:50 PM Yes 10% is not much of a difference from their already 25% markup from MSRP. I am hoping they get to about 30 or 40% on blueray, even if it is an off brand. |
