Default NON PETA safe; what I've been up to this winter

Been doing the school thing and spending every chance I get out in the woods and enjoying what nature has to offer.

Bull Elk Spike shed about 18" long

Bull Elk Shed 4point (plus a nub)

6 point non-typical. Officially Subtotal: 128 0/8 Final Score: 116 1/8

Complete 2007 shed found from the above deer

Other than that, nothing new down this direction. I've been rather inactive as of late, but as soon as spring hits and until the car is sold, I will be attempting to reconnect with the Northern crowd and head south to support the Medford crew.

I will also be a hold out and continue flying the Ascension colors

probably taste like chicken...

Not much going on.. School is in full swing, so that has been my main concentration. This is my last offical term before I go to clinicals (O.J.T.), which is very exciting. So basically after this term I will be working (unpaid slave labor) in a hospital somewhere in the valley until March of 2010. I'll have quizes and such each week and manditory stuff I'll have to do while I'm in clinics, but no offical type classes.

Basically I have a perma-grin pasted on my face because things are getting close and I can see the light at the end of this long and dismal tunnel.

What the heck you been up to ? Anything new up there (other than the abnormal weather)?

Not much, I'm proud of you. nothing like sticking to something and making it happen.

On the other hand my never ending servitude has been transferred over to top foods in Redmond and the store is starting to do really well, so I guess I will have a job until my kids get out of school.

I know, hard to believe. The sheds were found side by side (bedding area) right near where he was hanging out. One side has the exact same point configuration as this years rack. So, beings that it is an oddball (non-typical rack configuration), the chances of another deer running around with the same set is very remote.

Doug, sounds like you got a good thing going.. congrats... ( I so miss working).... Course the grass is always greener..

Nursing is the way to go.... endless supply of clients (boomers) coming through for the next 25 to 30 years easy.

and you're right.. that is the smallest pygmy elk ever..lol.. Is there such thing as a pygmy elk???? lol.. it's just a blacktail buck.

Hey Todd glad to see ya back on SL. Sounds like school is going well. Clinical is really a good experiance and a lot more interesting then class room. I took my Paramedic trainning at PCC (Pasadena City) and we attended a few RN classes like A&P etc. Now I kick myself for not just going for the RN program as they had a 2 yr program at that time. But hind sight is 20/20. Hope to see ya this spring or summer.

Found it
http://www.matchflick.com/flicks/18356

Be advised this movie is graphic! If you do watch it keep an open mind to the lengths these people go to save every animal. I am by no means a PETA supporter so don't flame me. I Love Bacon!
