Is he paying for them? I'd find his car and "fix" his mirrors with a baseball bat, but I'm like that. ;)

Pretty shady, but hell I would probably do the same. :P
I'm interested too with the folding mirrors. Though I always fold them in the parking lots, if the price is right, I'll be still interested. Hopefully no more than $150-200? ::crosses fingers::

Any information would be great.

On my recent trip to Japan I went to Netz Toyota asking about these mirrors and the cost on parts alone was over $800.00.

I found them in Junk yard and I'm always searching, if they are good condition and matching color $400 is very good price with the switch and wirring, I might have couple of pair in my next shipment, Take care Sean

you need the internal mirror motors and the JDM dash switch. everything else is either fab'd (wiring) or recycled from USDM.

you DON'T NEED the JDM mirror housing, the JDM mirror mount bases, the mirror glass or JDM mirror relay.

--- and MYBOX can have all the help he needs - he's the ONLY person (of dozens who blew me off, even though $ was no object) who'd get the mirror's for me.

The install is 'easy' once you know what the hell is going on and have some directions. It's a bit of a pain if you just have a pile of parts (some you don't even need, but don't know that yet!).

windowtint. so you're saying that since you don't need the housing, you can get any color available and put your stock body color right on them?

dang, if so, put me down for a set.

Pretty schnazzy windowtint.
I was hoping they had a turn signal on them as well.

Ya...I would have kicked his...well I would make him pay for them at least.

MyBox is great for JDM parts. He is in my Team.

Correct, the body color part is just the painted plastic housing- the JDM and USDM peices have the same part# molded into them on the inside. It does not matter what color you get, becuase you just reuse the ones that came with your car anyway.

You also HAVE TO reuse the USDM mirror base (the black portion that's bolted onto the door, that the mirror swivels on) .. The JDM base mounts are angled the opposite of USDM (they drive on the other side). If you use the JDM bases, the mirrors will be so out of whack angle-wise, you can't use them. I made the mistake of using them off the bat -- bad idea. The USDM ones have to be modified just every so slightly on the inside with a Dremel.

You also don't need the JDM relay - the USDM one will work - not to mention I never could find the USDM peice anyway - I removed the entire dash and still couldn't find it. The mirrors aren't AUTOMATIC like on a Lexus, you have to push the "fold-in" button - the JDM relay may allow for the automatic function, but I got tried of looking for the USDM one.

Again - once I have time, I'll see about opening the mirrors back up and getting a photo or two. Once you've (me) installed one set (took several days), you (me!) could do a 2nd set in an hour. I did A LOT of unneccesary 'figuring out' since I had no directions to work from. They aren't hard to retrofit, just gotta know what to hook to what and what to solder to what.

The ONLY JDM parts you actually NEED are the internal mirror motors and the dash switch. The harnessess that plug into each of those would be nice, but you can reuse the USDM ones if you can do a little more extra wiring (the JDm dash switch harness has two extra wires in it and so do both mirror harness plugs)

2TONE_XB --- built in turn signals would be more than easy enough to install while you got the housings apart, I didn't do it (thought about it) because it just seemed like overkill with blinkers in the fenders just below the mirrors as it is.
