View Full Version : 130psi in cylinder... is it okay to drive like this? turbo_tC4 01-19-2009, 04:01 AM i did a compression test the other day with my car. From the right cylinder to left the results came out to be 155, 160, 155, 130. the 130psi kinda gets me worried. Is 130psi that bad? or is it still okay. need helpp! thanks elpolakotc 01-19-2009, 04:31 AM i would redo the test one more time and if the numbers are the same i would say its either head gasket or worn piston rings in left cylinder... u can check that by taking out a spark plug from a cylinder that got lowest numbers and put some oil into it. Then re do the compression test and if the numbers are higher then your piston rings are fried:/ good luck!!
