Default HOW MUCH TIMING

im running 9.5 s/c with emanage ult and meth kit, how much timing are you guys pulling and or are you able to pull timing with emanage ult, the reason im asking i was looking at my tune map , but no signs of any timing map almost as if my tunner didn't use a timing map. does anyone know if you need to pull timing , my understanding cooler temp means you sould be able to tune safer and adjust timing for more power.....

I was always under the understanding that with cooler intake temp you could pull timeing safer for more power.

um you don't get power by pulling timing. from what i know you do it to keep your engine safe from knock. knock is most prevalent in the summer time when temps are hotter out... also you posted in the wrong section thus why your getting no responses

if your factory ecu has been flash (TRD) it initially has gobs of timing retard. You need to start from scratch and get it on the dyno. Every car is different really

yes it has a trd flash, and emanage ult .the first time i took my tc in for a tune they had problems with timing , tuner asked if my harness was installed correctly, and yes dezod plugnplay . so i thing all they did was play with a/f. no timing. so you are saying a conflict between trd flash and emanage? should get a oem ecu with no flash?

yes there are conflicts with tuning and using a trd flashed ecu... most people switch back to a stock ecu when tuning with a piggy back.

. So u have the trd reflash and the e m ult running together? If so there's your prob there.and I was wondering what did you put down?and with timeing you pull to pervent pinging your motor to it's death whitch temp really don't have anything to do with it you don't want to get it retuned every summer winter but to be safe I would pull around 3 degrees depends on your af. And how much boost but your tuner should have seen your prob and should have told. U about timeing

you should get more power . with takeing out the trd refl i think that would hurt you running it with the em ult but as far as the gas eather your keeping your foot in it or your tuner has it way to rich are you smelling gas at all when you drive or any smoke out the ex do u have a wide band i would like to know your af if you do if not my guess its way to rich

my bad since you asked turbo or supercharger , my reply was s/c , i tuned my tc a few times once with a 9.5 psi pulley and other time with a 12 psi pulley . i some times swap pulleys, and tune, 12psi most weekens. daily 9.5psi.. but at the most part. im running rich a/f reading not sure. ill ask for my tune copy .
